Accounts
The regular VUB computer accounts cannot be used in these rooms. You can request an account for these rooms via the site http://www.infogroep.be/accounts/.
Print Credits
Infogroep (E1.08) has a printer which can be used to print from these rooms. You can buy print credits during the opening hours. Single pages cost 2 cents, double sided printing costs 3 cents.
Opening hours
Infogroep has regular opening hours during which you can come by for technical assistance and for various purchases. The opening hours are posted next to the door and can be found online: OpeningsUren.
Priorities for the Use of Computers
- Classes
- Individual study-related work
- Reading mail
- Web surfing, chatting etc.
When the rooms are fully occupied, Infogroep will enforce these priorities, favouring science students within each category.
Room Rules
General Remarks
- Eating and drinking are not allowed in these rooms.
- Smoking is not allowed in the rooms nor in the hallways.
- Please don't litter.
- Please don't disturb other users: avoid loud discussions.
Article 1
Access to the rooms is Infogroep's responsibility. Infogroep reserves the right to deny access when needed.
Article 2
Access is limited to students and faculty. Infogroep can ask users to show their student cards at any time.
Article 3
There is no fixed closing time. Students can use the infrastructure as long as there are Infogroep board members present.
Article 4
Bringing your own computer and connecting it to the network is not allowed. (Exceptionally Infogroep can grant explicit permission to do so.)
Article 5
Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
Article 6
Accounts of users who do not respect these rules can be temporarily disabled.
